Here is my Fearless Forecast:
I. Madrigal Siblings of Cainta, Rizal - Strong trio of singers but they come a dime a dozen in the Pinas and around the world. They really need to bring something different if they will end up at least in the Top 5-6.
II. Jem Cubil of Talisay, Cebu - Okay singer nothing much to say about him.
III. Young balladeer John Michael Narag of Mabini, Pangasinan - Decent singer nothing stands out with him. Need to work on his English pronunciation.
IV: Pinoy Bruno Mars Buildex Pagales of Digos City - One of my personal favorites is Buildex. He's pretty much a carbon copy of Bruno Mars with the trademark hat and voice. I guess I want to see something more than him copying Bruno Mars. I'm sure everyone wants him to do his Bruno Mars gimmick/shtick at the Grand Finals but after that... what else will he do in his career? Will he always be the Full-Pinoy Bruno Mars? Why can't he be the first Buildex?
V: Tween trio DJP Trio of Bacolod, Negros Occidental - Love these 3 little girls and their voices. They will be big someday but sadly they don't stand a chance tomorrow with such stiff competition.
VI: Marcelito Pomoy of Imus, Cavite - One of a kind singer but no true X-Factor from him.
VII: Freestylers of Calamba, Laguna - Good SHOWTIME-worthy dance group.
VIII: B4 of Baguio City - See Freestylers.
IX: Filogram of Baguio City - Unique but then again see Freestylers.
X: Tapdancing brothers Happy Feet of Libona, Bukidnon - Loved their back story and enjoyed their performances. I would love to see them add something different, perhaps some flips or props to liven up a standard tapdancing performance. I'm sure they can do that but not worthy of a big win at the PGT2 Grand Finals.
XI: Duo Leoniel Enopia & Elizabeth Dazo of Bacolod, Negros Occidental - Worthy to be on Dancing with the Stars but nothing that truly impressed me here.
XII: Rico the Magician from Caloocan - One of my sentimental favorites was Rico. He got royally screwed by Ai-Ai and Kris and everyone knew it. They heard it from the audience after letting the Madrigal Girls Glad ABS/PGT2 did the right thing and creating a Wild Card round to have him back. I hope we see something different appear out of thin air besides bunny rabbits, dogs and midgets.
XIII: Angel Calalas from Cainta, Rizal - Impressive hula hoops skills but is that pang-Grand Finals win? I don't think so.
XIV: Skeights - Dig their music but they have to do something special to be more than just a hip banda.
