Until now all is waiting for the premiere of the two much-anticipated TV series of the Kapamilya network. Almost three months ago the Kapamilya station keep on promoting their so-called "Kapamilya Gold" which includes the best new teleseryes to offer. And two of these soaps were the Philippine remakes of "Maria La Del Barrio" and "Nasaan Ka Elisa?".
Almost all of the "Kapamilya Gold" line-ups like "Mula Sa Puso," "100 Days to Heaven," "My Princess," and "The Biggest Loser" were already shown. Even "Guns and Roses" which is set for the second quarter of the year already premiered. Now where is Elisa and "Maria La Del Barrio"?!
According to reports, the reason for the delay of these two much-awaited TV series is that the Kapamilya network is fixing some issues related to the airing of these new shows. For "Maria La Del Barrio," they replaced some sexy and daring scenes included in the soap. They want to make it more wholesome so that even children can watch the said show and to inline it with the guidelines of MTRCB.
In case of "Nasaan Ka Elisa" which is supposed to be on the daytime block, its two main stars namely Agot Isidro and Albert Martinez had a contract with ABS-CBN stating that their TV series project will be on Primetime. So the TV station will put this newest soap in Primetime in accordance with their contract agreement.
And of course the major reason for the delay is that "wala pang paglalagyan sa Primetime!" Yeah, Primetime Bida line-up is currently overloaded! But preferably, right after the Koreanovela "I Am Legend", "Maria La Del Barrio" will take its timeslot! On the other hand, "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" will replace "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin!"
