The Internet Pinoy Community (IPC) has been abuzz when they heard that an Esperanza remake is in the making. Some are getting tired of remakes suffocating their airwaves but there is no doubt that they are proven ratings gold (ie: Mara Clara, Mula Sa Puso to name a few).
Many names have been tossed about as the female lead. Some of these names are Star Magic talents like Charee Pineda, Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Miles Ocampo, Valerie Concepcion, Dimples Romana, Kristel Moreno, Jodi Sta. Maria and Maricar Reyes.
The GMA starlet Nadine Samonte was pretty much handed the role if she decided to come back to the Kapamilya network but thought otherwise. She ended up signing a multi-year exclusive Kapatid contract and will star in an upcoming soap dubbed "The Sisters." Why would she have let a golden opportunity like this get away from her? Did she make the right decision? Only time will tell.
Who would be the best choice to be the 2011-12 version of Esperanza?
TFC Godfather happens to know the inside dish but wants the IPC to try and figure it out for themselves. What do you think mga Kapamilya?

ReplyDelete@nikki: Kathryn Bernado was brilliant as Juday's lead role in Mara Clara so I would definitely be all for her reprising this role.
