'Dolce Amore' starring LizQuen's Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil soon on Primetime Bida!

LizQuen fans, don't fret, your beloved loveteam will be in a highly anticipated Primetime Bida soap, Dolce Amore!

Dolce Amore, in Italian means 'sweet love' which is appropriate. The soap started filming in Rome, Italy and is apparent in the upcoming teaser trailer that was released on the official ABS-CBN Youtube HERE.

 From the given trailer, an Italian princess named Serena played by Liza 'Hope' Soberano does not want all the glitz and glamour of being who she is, she wants the simple life. She ends up in the Philippines and encounters Enrique Gil as Tenten, an ordinary guy trying to make a living in Manila/Maynila. The end of the teaser trailer has them finally meet up in her car and in an awkward moment, Tenten gets sprayed with pepper spray. Oh that isn't love in the air Quen, that's the burning sensation of an exchange that will set the tone for this soap. Will love bloom forevermore for these two combustible elements. I certainly hope so and I wouldn't expect anything less from one of the hottest loveteams on ABS-CBN, or for the whole country for that matter.

The soap will also have Cherie Gil, Matteo Guidicelli and Frenchie Dy. The timeslot has not yet been confirmed but by the way some of the primetime soaps are headed, it may take over Jadine's On The Wings Of Love before KathNiel's Pangako Sa'yo calls it quits.

Matteo Guidicelli says he admires Toni Gonzaga’s hosting skills

As a regular mainstay of Happy Yipee Yehey, actor-model Matteo Guidicelli admitted that the daily variety show has helped him improve in a lot of ways. “It’s a cool show, we make people happy and we’re just having fun. I don’t know exactly what has improved (laughs). Siguro yung Tagalog ko is improving with Happy Yipee Yehey. Masaya naman sa show kahit nabubulol ako or whatever, tatawanan lang ng tao. It’s just fun and they accept you for who you are and you can show your real self on the show. You don’t have to be showbiz or hide or anything. Just be yourself and sana they like it,” he shared during the Star Magic anniversary music video shoot held at Abrakadabra studios in Makati.

The 22-year-old Cebuano admitted he enjoyed being part of the video, which features Star Magic’s anniversary jingle “Ikaw Ang Magic ng Buhay Ko,” which was composed and sung by fellow Star Magic talent Yeng Constantino and directed by Paul Soriano. “Masaya ako kasi it’s my first time to work with Direk Paul (Soriano). I love Direk Paul, he’s a cool guy. I work with Toni (Gonzaga) for Happy Yipee Yehey so I’ve heard a lot about him. He’s very simple and it’s an honor to work with him,” he shared.

Matteo shared that admires the talented couple and he also looks up to Toni when it comes to her hosting skills. “She’s so talented. One day I want to speak like her. Kapag may idiot board, maraming mga salita dyan, parang she picks it up so easily and she’s very witty. She’s very smart. Toni’s very intelligent. Tinutulungan naman niya ako. She’s a very, very nice person. I didn’t know her that well before pero now I’m with her everyday and I got to know her closer and she’s an amazing person. She’s a perfect person. She’s really nice,” he stressed.

After signing up with Star Magic last year, Matteo said he feels grateful for the opportunities given to him by Star Magic heads Johnny Manahan and Mariole Alberto. “It’s a blessing to be part of Star Magic. Dati hindi ako Star Magic eh. Pagbalik ko galing America last, last December, they got me tapos they gave me Agua Bendita agad. They’re amazing people. Mr.M and Tita Mariole are like family to me. Kapag hindi ka nagsusumbong sa kanila, magagalit sila, kailangan sasabihin mo lahat. They’re always there for you if you have problems. Mr. M critiques you all the time to make you a better person and talagang parang pamilya yung Star Magic. Tapos yung mga handlers naming lahat parang pamilya talaga. Ang bait nilang lahat,” he explained.

Aside from his daily stint on Happy Yipee Yehey, Matteo is also busy preparing for Binondo Girl his upcoming show with Kim Chiu, a movie with Maja Salvador, as well as promoting his first digital single. “A different Matteo is going to come out there. I’ve never done this before so I’m excited for that. I also have another movie coming out soon called Basted. It’s with me and Maja. I’m very, very excited for that and I have a single out, it’s called ‘Someone Like You,’ under Star Records,” he added.

With a lot of promising projects, Matteo admitted he is very lucky to be paired with two good actresses. “I worked with Kim for my first ever project with ABS-CBN called Go Kada Go and Kim and Gerald (Anderson) just came out from PBB (Pinoy Big Brother). I think I’m closer to Maja now. We’re close. We used to work everyday and stuff. And then I’m going to work with Kim again soon. They already started taping, baka ako in two weeks pa. masarap din to work with Kim. She’s very professional. She’s cool,” he said.

Maja Salvador on Matteo Guidicelli: 'Darating tayo kung sasagutin ko na siya'

Maja Salvador claimed that she’s really flattered that Matteo Guidicelli is very vocal about his admiration of her not only in press interviews, but even in his live appearances in Happy Yippee Yehey! (HYY). “In fairness naman [nararamdaman ko na binibigyan niya ako ng importansya] lalo na napaka-vocal niya sa pagasasabi sa HYY na, ‘Si Maja ganito, si Maja ganyan.’ Gusto ko nga sabihin sa kanya, ‘Gusto mo ba ako masali sa HYY?”



But the pretty actress clarified that it’s not enough reason for people to assume that they are in a relationship. She also stressed that she’s not committed to anyone at the moment. “Hindi, wala naman kaming aaminin ni Matteo. Hindi ko naman siya pipigilan kung ano man ang gusto niyang sabihin tungkol sa akin. Desisyon niya yun, karapatan niya yun. As long as wala pa naman naapektuhan, wala pa naman akong ibang karelasyon, wala pang nagmamay-ari sa akin.”

When prodded that she might only reveal the real score between them once they’ve broken up already, Maja let it slip that it’s only a matter of time before she agrees to become Matteo’s girlfriend. However, Maja corrected herself later on. “Basta darating tayo kung sasagutin ko na siya. Hindi ko nga alam sa kanya e. Siyempre, ayoko magsalita na, ‘Ay oo [nanliligaw siya sa akin].’ Kasi baka sabihin niya napaka-assuming ko naman. Tanungin niyo na lang siya kung nanliligaw siya.”

Maja confessed that there are actually a lot of guys who are making her feel special right now. It just so happened that Matteo’s the most vocal of them. “Marami akong special friends. Si Coco (Martin), si Matt Evans, sila Matteo. Madami akong ka-close na lalaki. Pero si Matteo ang pinaka-vocal. Hindi ko alam kung kailan ako magiging ready. Personal choice ko [ang maging single muna] kasi madami din namang projects na dumadating tulad ng Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, may movie with Coco, movie with Matteo (Basted), tapos yung Thelma ire-release na din sa August, so yun.”

But is it safe to say that Matteo has all the qualities that she’s looking for in a potential boyfriend? “Mabilis ako ma-in-love sa isang tao. Depende sa effort nila. Hindi naman sa looks talaga e. Depende kung paano nila mahalin yung trabaho, yung pamilya, depende kung paano nila iparamdam na babae ka kahit hindi ka gawing prinsesa. Kahit hindi ka i-treat na prinsesa pero yung iparamdam sayo na, ‘Wow, ang haba ng hair ko!’ Ganon.”

Maja Salvador denies that she's a playgirl and a 'bilmoko' girl

Maja Salvador refused to be alarmed with rumors that she’s romantically involved with a lesbian and a rich non-showbiz boyfriend. The same newspaper report also accused her of being a playgirl and a high-maintenance type of girlfriend (colloquially referred to as “bilmoko” girl). But she all took it in stride and even turned the controversy into a joke in her Twitter account. “Ang pangalan ng writer [na naglabas ng issue] ay Nanet... Jimbentor... hahaha! Baka gusto mag-guest sa jimbento files!!! Wahahaha. Basta masaya ako, hindi ni’yo ako magagapi,” she tweeted.

When ABS-CBN reporters caught up with her at the recently-concluded Star Awards for movies, however, she admitted that her family and friends couldn’t help but feel affected by the controversies about her. “Siyempre naapektuhan din yung feelings ko lalo na nakalagay dun sa dyaryo na bilmoko girl daw ako [at madaming karelasyon]. May Matteo (Guidicelli), may Coco (Martin), may lesbian lover at may non-showbiz boyfriend pa. So kahit anong ingat ko sa image ko, kahit na kayo, kilala ni’yo naman kami, nakikita niyo naman kami kung saan-saan… Parang hindi lang mabilis agad na matanggap yun kahit hindi naman totoo. Maaapektuhan yung image mo eh, lalo na kapag may endorsements na pumapasok, baka magback out. Kaya ako, tini-tweet ko agad, kini-clear ko agad kasi ayokong madismaya yung mga fans ko.”

The young actress further explained that she had never been involved with a lesbian lover. “Yung tito ko nag-text pa. Bad trip daw siya dahil may lumabas sa dyaryo. Ako sinagot ko lang, kasi yung lesbian na karelasyon ko daw, napakatagal na no’n. Tsaka hello, wala akong naging karelasyon na lesbian. Hindi naman po sa minamasama ko yung mga lesbian o bakla. Nirerespeto ko po sila, pero wala akong naging lesbian na karelasyon.”

As for the persistent rumors about her being called a “bilmoko” girl, Maja stressed that she doesn’t need a wealthy boyfriend for her to be able to indulge in shopping sprees. “Yun nga, gusto ni’yo ipag-shopping ko kayo? Sabihin ni’yo lang sa akin, tatawagan ko kung sino man yun (laughs). Wala talaga, ano ba ‘yan! Kaya ko naman ipag-shopping ang sarili ko kahit papaano. Marami din naman akong paghihirap sa trabaho. So kapag nag-shopping ako, kung nakikita ni’yo ako… Medyo bawas na nga eh, dahil yun sa nagtratrabaho ako. Siyempre minsan hinahayaan ko din naman yung sarili ko na i-enjoy yung pinagtratrabahuhan ko.”

Matteo: 'Work, family is Maja's first priority'

MANILA, Philippines – Despite his admission that actress Maja Salvador is his special someone, actor Matteo Guidicelli revealed he is not yet ready to take their relationship to the next level.

In an interview with Push.com.ph, Guidicelli said he is trying to enjoy what he and Salvador have now.

“We are very, very close now. Sa mga interviews ko palagi kong sinasabi we’re special friends to each other kasi we go out a lot [but on] group dates with friends. And we’re just happy with each other,” he said.

The actor also affirmed what Salvador earlier said that their respective careers are their first priorities.

“As of now ‘di pa kasi siya [ready]. Every other day busy siya sa 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin'. Tapos late pack-up, [and] busy with [her team-up with] Coco (Martin). Ako [busy sa] 'Happy Yipee Yehey',” he said.

“Trabaho muna--that’s her number one priority in life. Trabaho muna and her family,” he added.

Meanwhile, Guidicelli revealed that he and Salvador have an upcoming movie together titled “Basted.”

He said they will resume shooting the movie by the end of June.

Guidicelli added that it is through this movie that he discovered how much Salvador is passionate about acting.

“I learned so much from her not only in acting but also as a person. Si Maja kapag trabaho ibibigay niya nang buo, 100%. Ibibigay niya lahat. She inspires me and teaches me a lot,” he said.
