The game show we all know and love is leaving the cushy confines of the studio to visit a barangay near you mga Kapamilya. Stating Monday, KDOND will be on location in various barangays sharing the fun, good vibes and hopefully lots of money.

Luis Manzano, current host of Celebrity Playtime was elated about the news. "I’m very thankful that people appreciate the show. I’m used to doing ‘Deal or No Deal’ and ‘Minute to Win It’ where there is a bit of tension and I need to make the player nervous. On ‘Playtime,’ it’s very light and all fun...”
Billy Crawford was the original host of the program before he had to leave for other hosting duties.
Celebrity Playtime will air in the LUV U slot starting Sunday besides its normal slot on Saturdays.

Star Cinema's Everything About Her starring Vilma Santos, Angel Locsin & Xian Lim
'The Star For All Seasons' Vilma Santos is back in a Star Cinema film alongside Angel Locsin and Xian Lim dubbed 'Everything About Her.' It follows the plight of a powerful woman in control of everything until it all changes when she learns she is dying of 'the big C' aka cancer. She meets her match with her personal nurse (Angel Locsin). Xian Lim plays the son Albert of Vilma Santos in this movie and is the odd pairing as a loveteam for Angel here.
Luis Manzano was Direk Joyce's first choice the play the son of his mom in this film and to play opposite with his girlfriend Angel but he felt it hit too close to home so he turned it down. Xian Lim was the replacement.
Directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal and in theatres January 27, 2016 in cinemas nationwide.

Commentary: Why Xian Lim? There are plenty of other leading men to play opposite Gel and Vilma? Why not Jericho Rosales? I have faith in the narrative and even if I don't agree with the choice of leading men, I will definitely come out and support the film... as you should.

Bagong Kapamilya Elmo Magalona plays Kapamilya Deal or No Deal!
New Kapamilya leading man Elmo Magalona got his turn at trying his luck on the wildly popular Kapamilya Deal or No Deal hosted by Luis Manzano.
Elmo played the game valiantly with his mother Pia and sister Saab Magalona in attendance but when he had only 200 and 200,000 left on the board and the offer was 99,000 he went against conventional thinking and went empathically, NO DEAL. Sadly he gave up the guaranteed 99,000 pesos and unfortunately ended up with 200 pesos. In the end, he told Luis he didn't want the game to end so he tried his luck.
This episode aired on December 28th and the 29th. You can see him soon on his upcoming teleserye Born For You with Be Careful with My Heart and Oh My G's Janella Salvador in the first quarter of 2016.
