Mariel Rodriguez says she feels happy to be friends with Robin Padilla’s kids

Accidental raw na nalaman ni Mariel Rodriguez ang plano ng kanyang asawang si Robin Padilla na pakasalan siya sa Vatican City. “Surprise nga daw ‘yon,” simula ni Mariel. “Tapos may nagsabi nga sa akin na taga-E-Live (tungkol sa plano ni Robin) so sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Babe, you know someone wants to interview me, they said… are we going to the Vatican?’ Sabi kong ganon, gulatan. Pero hindi ako nag-comment kasi hindi pa namin napag-uusapan, sabi niya ay sino’ng nagsabi sa ‘yo?” Ngayon nga ay hinahanda na ni Robin ang planong pumunta sila ni Mariel sa nasabing lugar para doon magpakasal.
Sobrang happy naman ni Mariel sa planong ito ni Robin. “Nagpapasalamat ako kasi hindi nawawala sa utak niya napag-usapan namin (ang kasal). I’m really very happy for my religion, more for me.”
In the meantime, bago raw sila matuloy sa Vatican ay uunahin muna ni Robin na dalawin ang kanyang mga anak na si Ali at Camille. Si Ali, na kanyang bunsong lalaki ay nasa Australia, samantalang nasa US naman ang isa pang anak niyang babae na si Camille.
“Nami-miss niya ‘yung mga anak niya, eh. Si Camille, I remember the first time I met her, we were in Greenhills. Tapos ang cute-cute ng reaction niya, “ Huh, oh my gosh, you’re Mariel!” aliw na aliw na kuwento ng misis ng action superstar.
Happy naman ngayon si Mariel dahil nararamdaman daw niya na bahagi na siya ng pamilya ni Robin. “Love na love ko rin silang lahat. Feel ko talaga I’m also part of their family. I’m really so blessed. Thank you so much na naging happy na ang mga tao for us.”
Matteo Guidicelli says he admires Toni Gonzaga’s hosting skills

As a regular mainstay of Happy Yipee Yehey, actor-model Matteo Guidicelli admitted that the daily variety show has helped him improve in a lot of ways. “It’s a cool show, we make people happy and we’re just having fun. I don’t know exactly what has improved (laughs). Siguro yung Tagalog ko is improving with Happy Yipee Yehey. Masaya naman sa show kahit nabubulol ako or whatever, tatawanan lang ng tao. It’s just fun and they accept you for who you are and you can show your real self on the show. You don’t have to be showbiz or hide or anything. Just be yourself and sana they like it,” he shared during the Star Magic anniversary music video shoot held at Abrakadabra studios in Makati.
The 22-year-old Cebuano admitted he enjoyed being part of the video, which features Star Magic’s anniversary jingle “Ikaw Ang Magic ng Buhay Ko,” which was composed and sung by fellow Star Magic talent Yeng Constantino and directed by Paul Soriano. “Masaya ako kasi it’s my first time to work with Direk Paul (Soriano). I love Direk Paul, he’s a cool guy. I work with Toni (Gonzaga) for Happy Yipee Yehey so I’ve heard a lot about him. He’s very simple and it’s an honor to work with him,” he shared.
Matteo shared that admires the talented couple and he also looks up to Toni when it comes to her hosting skills. “She’s so talented. One day I want to speak like her. Kapag may idiot board, maraming mga salita dyan, parang she picks it up so easily and she’s very witty. She’s very smart. Toni’s very intelligent. Tinutulungan naman niya ako. She’s a very, very nice person. I didn’t know her that well before pero now I’m with her everyday and I got to know her closer and she’s an amazing person. She’s a perfect person. She’s really nice,” he stressed.
After signing up with Star Magic last year, Matteo said he feels grateful for the opportunities given to him by Star Magic heads Johnny Manahan and Mariole Alberto. “It’s a blessing to be part of Star Magic. Dati hindi ako Star Magic eh. Pagbalik ko galing America last, last December, they got me tapos they gave me Agua Bendita agad. They’re amazing people. Mr.M and Tita Mariole are like family to me. Kapag hindi ka nagsusumbong sa kanila, magagalit sila, kailangan sasabihin mo lahat. They’re always there for you if you have problems. Mr. M critiques you all the time to make you a better person and talagang parang pamilya yung Star Magic. Tapos yung mga handlers naming lahat parang pamilya talaga. Ang bait nilang lahat,” he explained.
Aside from his daily stint on Happy Yipee Yehey, Matteo is also busy preparing for Binondo Girl his upcoming show with Kim Chiu, a movie with Maja Salvador, as well as promoting his first digital single. “A different Matteo is going to come out there. I’ve never done this before so I’m excited for that. I also have another movie coming out soon called Basted. It’s with me and Maja. I’m very, very excited for that and I have a single out, it’s called ‘Someone Like You,’ under Star Records,” he added.
With a lot of promising projects, Matteo admitted he is very lucky to be paired with two good actresses. “I worked with Kim for my first ever project with ABS-CBN called Go Kada Go and Kim and Gerald (Anderson) just came out from PBB (Pinoy Big Brother). I think I’m closer to Maja now. We’re close. We used to work everyday and stuff. And then I’m going to work with Kim again soon. They already started taping, baka ako in two weeks pa. masarap din to work with Kim. She’s very professional. She’s cool,” he said.

Rachelle Ann Go on John Prats and Bianca Manalo’s rumored romance: ‘Ayoko na pakialaman yun’

Although obviously hurting from their sudden breakup, singer Rachelle Ann Go still refused to say anything bad about John Prats who’s currently being linked to his Happy Yipee Yehey co-host Bianca Manalo. But she was honest enough to admit that it was unfair of him to leave her without any explanation. “Yes, [hiwalay na kami]. Hindi niya ako kinausap eh. Hindi pa talaga kami nag-usap. Siyempre hindi naman ako plastic para sabihing okay talaga kami. Nandun yung may sama ka ng loob, kasama yun. Lahat naman siguro ng babae, kung ilagay yung sarili nila sa sitwasyon ko, siyempre unfair [yung nangyari]. Mahirap, naguguluhan rin kasi ako kaya hindi ko alam ang isasagot ko sa lahat,” she calmly explained.
When told that Bianca previously stated that she doesn’t want to date a guy who leaves his girlfriend just to be with her, Rachelle maintained that she’d rather not comment on that subject. “Kung yun ang sinabi niya, ayoko naman na mag-react sa kanila, ayoko na pakialaman yun. Kung kami ni John ang may problema, yung sa amin lang [ang dapat intindihin ko].”
But if ever she crosses paths with Bianca in the future, the talented singer claimed that there’s no reason for them to avoid each other. “I don’t know her personally. Hindi ko rin alam [kung paano siya nasali sa issue]. Pero oo naman, babatiin ko siya kung sakali mang makita ko siya. Kumbaga, wala naman dapat alitan na mangyari. Hindi ko rin naman alam kung ano nangyari. Kumbaga respeto lang naman.”
When asked if she had a lover’s quarrel with John prior to their split, Rachelle insisted that it’s normal for couples to have misunderstandings from time to time. “Siyempre normal sa relasyon yung ganon. Sa ngayon ayoko muna pag-usapan. Kapag ready na ako sabihin lahat, sasabihin ko naman lahat. Siguro yung closure sa aming dalawa, kailangan din naman siguro yun sa tamang panahon. Mahirap, pero siyempre kailangan tanggapin. Iniisip ko na lang yung brighter side and purpose kung bakit nangyari ito.”
As for Toni Gonzaga’s involvement in this whole controversy, Rachelle admitted that she was equally surprised when she first heard about the former’s slip-up on The Buzz. “Hindi ko kasi alam kung bakit nasabi niya yung ganon. Hindi ko alam kung ano mararamdaman sa bagay na yun. Nagulat ako kasi wala ako sa Pilipinas nun. Pagdating ko na lang, yun na sumalubong na balita sa akin. Mahirap sabihin na [break na kami ni John nung time na yun], kasi hindi pa kami nag-uusap. [Pero since sinabi niya din after nun sa HYY na single siya], right niya yun. Hindi ko naman siya mapipigilan kung anong gusto niya sabihin sa tao.”
On a lighter note, Rachelle was grateful that she’s surrounded by good friends who are all helping her cope with her heartache. One of which is the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo whom she constantly keeps in touch with despite their busy schedules. “Oo, ka-Facebook ko siya kahit nasa States siya ngayon. Hahaha! Kung ano mang advice na ibinigay niya, sa amin na lang yun. Pero nakakatuwa lang kasi nandyan sila lahat, sila Erik Santos, Mark Bautista... Buo kaming barkada ngayon. I am happy na nandiyan ang mga kaibigan ko,” she stated.

Jaya on HYY... Kapamilya ba sya or guesting lang?
The "Soul Diva" and "The Asia's Queen of Soul" hailing from GMA, Jaya made a surprise guesting on Happy Yipee Yehey today.
She was part of the opening number with Pokwang, Luke Mejares, Xian Lim, Shaina Magdayao, John Estrada, Randy Santiago, Matteo Guidicelli and Toni Gonzaga. She said her reason for being on here was that there was a typhoon (Falcon) so she dropped on by. Hmmmm... curious...
She did a mini-post interview about being happy to be here and has upcoming U.S. concerts with Ms.Elizabeth Ramsey (her mother). It's a smart move to promote on TFC (remember Lani Misalucha did the same a few years back on ASAP and look at the increase in her ticket sales) since we all know that we are still the worldwide leader for reaching the global Pinoy, hands down.
She was a regular on the defunct S.O.P. now known as Party Pilipinas but has been rarely seen in and around the Kapuso Network.
Is this the first step on a move back to ABS-CBN? Is there room for Jaya?
Melai nervous, elated to host 'I Dare You'
MANILA, Philippines – "Pinoy Big Brother" big winner Melai Cantiveros admitted she got nervous about hosting the upcoming ABS-CBN reality show “I Dare You.”
Cantiveros told Push.com.ph that although she has gotten used to hosting because of her daily stint in “Happy Yipee Yehey,” she explained that it is very different to host a reality show alongside Jericho Rosales and Iya Villania.
“Aaminin ko, sa una nahiya ako, siyempre kasi si Jericho ‘yan eh. Ha ha ha! Si Iya naman, VJ ‘yan. Sobrang Englisher (sic) ‘yan,” she said.
Cantiveros, however, revealed that she felt at ease in time and enjoyed the company of the two hosts.
“Sobrang enjoy sila katrabaho. Nung tumagal talaga gumanda ‘yong samahan namin. On the go na ‘yong feelings ko. Ha ha ha! Hindi na ako nahihiya sa kanila. Kami ni Iya parang magka-level na lang ang ganda namin. Ha ha ha,” she said.
According to Cantiveros, she will be the one who will make the challengers and the viewers happy in this show.
“Dito ako ‘yong host na may pagkabaliw. Pangloko-loko lang ako. Hindi naman ‘yong sobrang serious. Pero nagbibigay din ako ng mensahe sa mga challengers. Pinapasaya ko ang mga challengers pati na rin ang mga viewers,” she said.
"I Dare You" is a project of ABS-CBN Entertainment TV Production and ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs.
It will offer viewers a new perspective on their favorite Kapamilya stars who will undergo different challenges to test their character.

Matteo: 'Work, family is Maja's first priority'
MANILA, Philippines – Despite his admission that actress Maja Salvador is his special someone, actor Matteo Guidicelli revealed he is not yet ready to take their relationship to the next level.
In an interview with Push.com.ph, Guidicelli said he is trying to enjoy what he and Salvador have now.
“We are very, very close now. Sa mga interviews ko palagi kong sinasabi we’re special friends to each other kasi we go out a lot [but on] group dates with friends. And we’re just happy with each other,” he said.
The actor also affirmed what Salvador earlier said that their respective careers are their first priorities.
“As of now ‘di pa kasi siya [ready]. Every other day busy siya sa 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin'. Tapos late pack-up, [and] busy with [her team-up with] Coco (Martin). Ako [busy sa] 'Happy Yipee Yehey',” he said.
“Trabaho muna--that’s her number one priority in life. Trabaho muna and her family,” he added.
Meanwhile, Guidicelli revealed that he and Salvador have an upcoming movie together titled “Basted.”
He said they will resume shooting the movie by the end of June.
Guidicelli added that it is through this movie that he discovered how much Salvador is passionate about acting.
“I learned so much from her not only in acting but also as a person. Si Maja kapag trabaho ibibigay niya nang buo, 100%. Ibibigay niya lahat. She inspires me and teaches me a lot,” he said.
